FULL CIRCLE SUPPORT provides information and support for those interested in natural and alternative cancer treatments.

Cancer is a story shared by many—young, old, poor, rich, and throughout the world. Survivors, caregivers, and their loved ones are all affected in different ways. Depending on your resources and where you live, the treatment and information varies, but the experiences are so often the same regardless. It is an arduous trek with no map, full of steep climbs, mazes of confusing information, moments of defeat, darkness, fear, love, of the sun setting and rising again as a reminder that you are alive. It changes your being physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Compelled by their personal experiences with natural medicine, Ryan and Gabriela are a survivor-caregiver couple who wish to provide support to anyone interested in this approach.

Ryan is a Stage IV Germ Cell cancer survivor. His diagnosis came unexpectedly, when he was 21 years old, after going to the ER for swelling of his face and head that occurred after a night of camping on a skateboarding trip. The swelling never went down, and after being pressured by his mother, Ryan checked himself into the emergency room that night. Hours later, his doctors advised him to have his family come to the hospital to go over the test results. That very early morning in August 2006, Ryan was diagnosed with Stage IV germ cell cancer. Feeling completely blindsided, he began treatment that day.

Since 2006, Ryan has had 4 cycles of BEP chemotherapy, 3 major surgeries, 16 minor surgeries, complications from surgeries, and 4 cancer relapses. In December 2015, he was denied a critical surgery because the placement of staples from a previous operation made it too risky for the surgeon. The doctors he was seeing at UCSF, Kaiser, Stanford and Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC offered him no other options, advising him to simply “keep an eye on” the tumors growing in his neck and chest. Needless to say, this was a low point in the journey, and Ryan was left feeling scared and desperate until he found strength to delve full force into natural medicine and alternative cancer treatments.

It wasn’t until he realized through trial and error what really worked for him, and what he was not willing to give up or give in to. With minimal side effects, none of which are longterm or detrimental, Ryan’s health began to turn around as he committed himself to this new approach. It was life changing. As of March 2016, after 10 years of battling medical insurance companies, relapses and complications, Ryan has been in remission with a clean bill of health.

Gabriela has been his partner in crime, research, hard times, hospital stays, friendship, adventure, and love. Together they have beat the odds and would like to help others by sharing their experience. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
